The Mountains are Calling
Author: Joyce Hemsley and John William McGrath III
With freedom only found in dreams,
we will walk together one day,
as skylarks sing in the fields of green,
and the sun washes the night away.
Stay, and enter the door of my mind,
come tell me the story of love;
for you I would walk a golden mile
through the gates of heaven above.
Let me admire those secret charms
as we walk in our rapture together,
the mountains and seas are calling us back,
to the shimmering trees of September.
With freedom only found in dreams,
at last we will find a way...
under amethyst skies shining with love,
tomorrow will be a beautiful day.
