Then Suddenly It's Love
Author: Joyce Hemsley
Enraptured as I hear the rain
I think about you once again
I see the vernal fields of green
then suddenly I am a queen.
Come my love, enthuse my brain
for that - I'd lay me down to die,
and if I think of what could be
then suddenly stars light the sky.
For I can't wait to take your name
and wear your diamond solitaire
to have you set my soul aflame
then suddenly to know you care.
Alone I walk down lover's lane
where once you kissed me tenderly
I talk to you - in need of you
enraptured as I hear the rain.
Then suddenly it's love again.
