One Fine Day in Heaven
Author: Joyce Hemsley
You were the wine
You were the dove
You were the wedding ring
Sparkling with love.
Tomorrow, we will meet
in heaven above.
Then we will shine
Wonderful love!
Hearing the organ play
For the Wings of a Dove,
Mendelssohn reigns up
In heaven above.
We'll see the swan
Float on the lake,
We'll gather the roses
As Burns' prose discloses
Garden of flowers
Is heaven above.
Come drink the wine
Come see the dove,
Wear the same golden ring
in the name of sweet love.
Once more, bride & groom
In heaven above.
